"Is it worth, such a journey?" asked the Gray Squirrel timidly. “How many nuts can be on such small trees? Look at those deep canyons too!”

He pointed at the plowed field.

The Red Squirrel saw the furrows. He hardly recognized trees in the far distance. He knew that way might not be easy.

"You are right, Gray,” he said. „Big and small and far. We can stay. Or…"

Red looked at the blue sky.

Sometimes closer problems can look much larger than they actually are. And a distant target may not be as small as it initially looks.

"…we can go. Go forth, Gray.”

Welcome to my world. For the longest time I couldn’t think of right name for this place, so I left it without one. Amongst things you can find here are attempts of science fiction and fantasy stories, my collection of gods, bogeymen and monsters and also articles about things that had me interested, be it for a while or for years. (There is more of this, sadly not in English but in Czech, on www.fext.cz)
